ABC/ESPN will be putting some of its 92 cameras to work Sunday at the Indianapolis 500 with 36 of them giving in-car views of that race. ESPN3 will feature 12 in-car cams to go along with the television coverage of the race.
That will give viewers the chance to ride along with Helio Castroneves, Ryan Briscoe, Tony Kanaan, Ed Carpenter, Simon Pagenaud, Charlie Kimball, Will Power, Jacques Villenueve, Marco Andretti, Graham Rahal, Ryan Hunter-Reay and Juan Pablo Montoya in the 99th running of the race.
Radio coverage will be provided by the IndyCar Radio Network, which can be heard in most major cities over the air as well as through Sirius and XM radio channels.
Ed Carpenter earned the pole and will lead the 33-car field to the start/finish line at approximately 12:12 p.m. ET.
